Known as the expert in cleanroom contamination control, we are an ISO 21001 and ISO 29993 certified training company. Every day 120 employees* of the comprei cleanroom service are at work in more than 200 cleanrooms every day. Trading in certified cleanroom accessories tested by us complements our range of services in order to provide our customers with a comprehensive and reliable supply.

Our success is based on an invaluable resource: our highly motivated and excellently trained employees. As a well-coordinated team that combines a wide range of skills and specializations, we dedicate ourselves daily to using our extensive knowledge of cleanrooms to the benefit of our customers.

Company history

comprei is a company that specializes in cleanroom technology and has grown continuously since it was founded in 1999. It offers training for the pharmaceutical industry, medical device manufacturing and manufacturing hospital pharmacies and has established itself as one of the best employers in Austria.

Cooperation with partners such as ECOLAB and TÜV Austria enabled the market launch of accredited training courses and the expansion of services to include decontamination and assembling of single-wafer processing systems. In addition, comprei is actively involved in cluster organizations and associations such as HTS and ÖRRG.

The company's continuous development and recognition are also reflected in its certification to ISO standards and its membership of renowned engineering associations.

The high level of employee satisfaction and low staff turnover reflect the positive working environment, which has been celebrated through company anniversaries and numerous awards.

According to our environmental protection motto "conversion instead of new construction" - acquisition of an existing warehouse to cover future requirements;
first customer was accompanied by comprei during its introduction to a learner journey
Integration of the Sustainable Development Goals - SDG 3, 8 and 13 for short - into our corporate quality management system (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals)

2022

Start of apprenticeship training for office clerks and wholesale clerks
Explosion in sales due to COVID-19 - comprei was able to supply all producing hospitals (supply chain was not interrupted, despite major challenges)
Despite the global Covid pandemic, comprei was not only able to maintain the number of employees, but even increase it and invested heavily in internal employee training

2021

ISO 29990 was replaced by the ISO 21001 certification (quality management for educational organizations). At the same time, comprei was certified to ISO 29993 (learning services outside formal education).
Over 100 employees for the first time. Employee turnover is only 2.91 percent.
Expansion of the range of accessories for the Croatian market

2019

Company anniversary 20 years of comprei with event in Spielberg.

2018

March 15, 2018: "Best Employer in Austria" award from Great Place to Work. comprei was named one of Austria's best employers in the Medium category (50 to 249 employees) in 8th place at the Great Place to Work Gala at the Expedithalle in Vienna.

2017

"The Ascent" - Annual General Meeting of ECOLAB Life Sciences in close cooperation with comprei, Villach.

2016

Market launch of the "Cleanroom specialist" and "Cleanroom facility employee" training courses with accredited personal certificate in accordance with ISO 17024. In cooperation with TÜV Austria.

Start of the diploma training course for cleanroom experts in English.
Renewal certification according to ISO 9001:2015.

Implementation of the first cleanroom training courses in accordance with VDI 2083 and ISO 14644.
Start of cooperation with WIFI Carinthia in the area of training and construction of a joint training clean room.

Foundation of comprei Reinraum-Handel und Schulungs GesmbH.
