Your client's cleanroom often starts sooner than expected
Technical quality alone is not always enough. Why purity requirements are becoming increasingly important throughout the supply chain—and why comprei is bringing this topic to electronica 2026 in Munich.
Overview
Many companies develop, manufacture, and supply technically sophisticated components for industries with the highest quality standards. Whether in the semiconductor industry, electronics manufacturing, or other controlled production environments, expectations for products, processes, and supply chains are constantly rising.
In this context, one issue is increasingly coming into focus—one that often only becomes apparent when challenges arise: the purity of components throughout the entire value chain.
Cleanliness has long since ceased to be an issue solely for cleanroom operators
Anyone who supplies components, assemblies, or systems to companies with controlled production environments today is increasingly encountering requirements that go beyond technical specifications.
Suppliers and operators share the same goal: to ensure that products can be used reliably, safely, and at the required quality level.
In practice, however, it has been shown time and again that technically flawless components do not automatically meet all expectations. Issues arise during manufacturing, handling, transportation, and use that go far beyond the product’s mere functionality.
A Challenge at the Interfaces
It is precisely at the interfaces between suppliers and operators that new tasks often arise:
- How are purity requirements communicated clearly?
- How can misunderstandings be avoided throughout the supply chain?
- What role do handling, protection, and packaging play?
- How can requirements not only be documented but also put into practice?
- How can we ensure both technical quality and purity requirements are met?
- These issues become particularly important in situations where the highest standards of quality, reliability, and process safety are required.
I bought it at electronica 2026 in Munich
From November 10 to 13, 2026, comprei will be exhibiting at electronica in Munich (Booth A2.523). The world's leading trade show for electronics brings together manufacturers, suppliers, technology partners, and operators of controlled production environments.
Our trade show presentation will focus on current challenges related to purity requirements throughout the supply chain and on how operators and suppliers can work together to develop more robust solutions.
We look forward to speaking with companies that are already developing, manufacturing, or supplying products for demanding production environments and would like to explore future requirements.
Purity Requirements Along the Supply Chain
Anyone who studies the future of controlled production environments will realize that the cleanliness of components is not determined only at the point of use. Manufacturing, handling, cleaning, packaging, transportation, and introduction into the controlled environment can all influence the condition in which a component is ultimately used in a controlled production environment.
Consequently, purity requirements are becoming increasingly important throughout the entire supply chain, particularly in the semiconductor and electronics industries.
At electronica 2026, we will demonstrate why this topic is becoming increasingly important and what opportunities it presents for operators, suppliers, and technology partners.
