What do jobs of the future look like? What kinds of careers lie behind high-tech terms like “cleanroom” and “contamination control”? On April 15, 2026, comprei provided answers to these questions as part of the “future jobs [campus]” event organized by the Carinthian Career and Education Guidance Service (BBOK) —and gave young people a hands-on experience of high-tech fields.
At the tpv Technology Park Villach, around 200 students got a hands-on look at careers of the future. Right in the thick of it: comprei – offering practical insights into the world of cleanrooms and contamination control.
Comprei placed particular emphasis on hands-on experimentation. Participants were able to experience firsthand just how sensitive cleanrooms are and why proper conduct is crucial there. Using UV light, they were able to see how even the tiniest particles of contamination can spread—a revelation that impressively bridged the gap between theory and practice.
This was supplemented by initial exercises on proper cleaning and the correct way to put on a cleanroom suit. Participants also had the opportunity to practice systematic hand sanitization. It quickly became clear that a cleanroom is not just about high-tech equipment; it also requires knowledge, precision, and a sense of responsibility.
Our colleague Emilia Angermeier and our apprentice Valerie Angermeier led the workshop with great dedication, expertise, and enthusiasm. They demonstrated in an authentic and practical way just how diverse and exciting careers in cleanrooms and contamination control can be—and what training and development opportunities this industry offers.
The young people particularly appreciated the personal approach and the direct interaction on an equal footing. The overwhelmingly positive feedback confirms that early career guidance works best when young people have the opportunity to experience different professions firsthand.
future jobs [campus] was organized by the Carinthian Career and Education Guidance Service (BBOK) in collaboration with Carinthia University of Applied Sciences and numerous partners from the business, research, and education sectors. The initiative aims to show young people the opportunities available in the region and to inspire them to pursue careers with a future.
For comprei, participating in such initiatives is an important way to support the next generation and raise awareness of quality, cleanliness, and precision in sensitive production and research areas.
We are proud of our team’s dedication and are delighted by the participants’ openness and curiosity. Events like future jobs [campus] clearly demonstrate how important hands-on career guidance is—and just how much potential the next generation holds.
We look forward to participating again in the coming years to introduce young people to the world of cleanrooms and show them paths to exciting, future-proof careers.
