Uniform global quality standard for training service providers - comprei demonstrates quality and competence by meeting the highest international standards. Training and further education offers are diverse. In such a broadly diversified market of highly varying quality, accredited orientation aids are required for the user.
The modern world of standardization requires a clear distinction between service standards and management system standards with the ISO "High Level Structure". In the first case, ISO 29993:2017 "Learning services beyond formal education - Service requirements" is already established. In order to also do justice to the management system approach from ISO 29990, ISO 21001:2018 "Educational organizations - Management systems for educational organizations - Requirements with guidance for use" was published in English in 2018 (2020 in German). The two supplements replace ISO 29990 in a significantly improved form. Due to its structure, ISO 21001 can also be described as an "ISO 9001 of education" and fulfills the requirements of a management system for education and learning service providers.
comprei has now also been audited against ISO 21001 and ISO 29993 and certified as of December 2021. Our Head of Learning Solutions, Simon Fiala, spoke with Mr. Hermann Zeilinger, Lead Auditor at TÜV AUSTRIA CERT GMBH, about the two standards and their implementation:
Fiala: What do you see as the main advantages for learners and their companies if they rely on ISO 21001-certified training organizations?
Zeilinger: The main advantage for learners and sponsors lies in the fact that it is reliable. The standard largely ensures that up-to-date knowledge, competence and skills are conveyed in an efficient form, methodology and didactics for the best possible learning transfer.
Fiala: What is your impression of the implementation of this standard at comprei?
Zeilinger: The company comprei interprets the ISO 21001 quality management standard in an efficient manner, implementing and using it as the basis for modern corporate management of the future. This approach shows that this international standard is the professional, modern approach for a basic management approach geared towards business excellence; the highest possible efficiency is implemented through the agility and creativity of the trainers. The company comprei deserves the award of the certificate and is fully aware of the responsibility associated with it.
Conveying understanding, raising awareness and bringing about sustainable behavioral change are essential requirements for cleanroom operators when training their employees. Management system certification in accordance with ISO 21001 makes the difference and guarantees the success of a training course.
Despite increasing digitalization and automation, people are a critical success factor for product quality and safety. In the context of pure production, the "human" variable becomes particularly explosive - namely due to the potential for contamination emanating from each individual employee. The "human" variable will continue to exist - a challenge in highly standardized and regulated industries.
So don't leave the training of your valuable employees to variables. Rely on a training provider that has certified management systems and offers learning services to a recognized standard.
